Public Relations Senior Account Manager Flourish PR location Melbourne. Due to a number of major new business wins for 2020, we are on the lookout for a gun PR Senior Account Manager. We work collaboratively across all internal departments (Social Media and Creative) to produce world-class projects and campaigns for our diverse clients. Our partnerships span across a range of industries including entertainment, technology, travel, corporate, lifestyle, sport, not for profit and health. This role is a senior contact for our PR clients. You will manage and oversee a number of accounts and campaigns, ensuring every single one is delivered efficiently and successfully, and service level agreements are met. You must be commercially minded and creative in nature, and adept at building relationships with key commentators, industry spokespeople, senior journalists and other partners. You will lead PR projects and provide counsel to your clients therefore a strategic and forward-thinking mind is a must. In return, we offer a very supportive, transparent and flexible workplace. Reporting directly to our group account director, day-to-day you will be senior contact for client accounts, managing client service and agency performance, overseeing pr campaigns from creative brief to implementation and delivery, analysing pr outcomes and interpreting data, presenting findings to clients and key stakeholders, growing current client accounts, contributing to the overall business, developing a wide network and nurturing key contacts. Key responsibilities managing new accounts along with existing ones, key daily contact for clients, overseeing media strategy and account development, providing support for agency growth and development of new business pipeline, achieving exceptional outcomes for current clients and managing an extended portfolio ensuring consistency of service is delivered in line with company policy, championing the agency values and brand, developing senior press relationships and managing contacts with key commentators, industry spokespeople and sector influencers, offering crisis management and counsel to clients and extending networking opportunities overseeing provision of account resources, formulating communication strategies in conjunction with department leads, budget management. Media skills building and maintaining effective working relationships with key journalists, develop news angles and pitch and place stories confidently, work closely with our social media team to ensure seamless delivery of key messaging across our clients’ digital and social media platforms, monitor media on a daily basis including newspapers, magazines, radio, tv, online sites, blogs and social media, collate, analyse and evaluate media coverage, manage events including press conferences, red carpet/opening nights and launches, manage and handle photography and videography for clients, respond quickly to phone calls and emails from journalists, leaving no stone unturned, proactively seek and identify pr opportunities for clients, ensuring the maximum level of coverage is achieved for all clients, oversee promotional activity for clients including handling competitions, a solid understanding of social media and meaningful influencer engagement. Required qualities highly organised, exceptional time-management skills within a fast-paced pr environment, senior experience within a pr agency or in-house position - at least 4-5 years solid experience, business development abilities with track record of success, experienced at winning new clients and pitching for business, keen networker and adept at building relationships with key influencers and industry spokespeople, proven ability to present complex industry information to target audiences, expertise at handling a range of media to place products, grow brands or pitch for new customers, exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills, ability to analyse complex data and interpret it for a range of audiences, outstanding interpersonal skills, strong negotiation and delegation skills, business acumen with the ability to communicate across departments and represent pr at a senior level within the business.
