Pialligo Food Emporium at Rodney’s is on the look out for a store manager/ supervisor. You’ll love all things food, beverage & lifestyle, be great with people, have previous supervisory or management experience and ideally have dipped  your toes in restaurant operations, catering & retail.

We are offering a permanent full-time position however depending on the applicant/s we are open to creating a job-sharing role for two great people. Located in the entrance to Rodney's Nursery & Garden Centre and Kitchen Garden at Rodney’s in picturesque Pialligo, the newly opened Pialligo Food Emporium offers visitors to the nursery and cafe a food, home and giftware experience. If you like the idea of working in a beautiful setting surrounded by yummy things during the day while having your nights free, we might have the job for you.

What we’re looking forcustomer first mindset. Excellent verbal & written communication. Experienced in retail, merchandising, packing and gift wrapping. Passionate about food & beverage (wine knowledge and a love of cooking desirable). Hospitality and or food retail experience.

Comfortable being in front of people and sharing your enthusiasm for what we do. Computerised point of sale experience (back-end operations experience desirable). Ready to start employment within 2 to 4 weeks (earlier start possible). You’ll be working a Wednesday to Sunday roster. Experienced working with cost control and setting margins. Product sourcing & supplier relationship building.
