Description

Property Managers Assistant Manage My Rental location Wellington. Salary $55,000 - $59,999.

Our awesome admin superstar is going on maternity leave in May so we will need someone between 6-12 months so we are on the hunt for someone to fill her role you'll have big boots to fill so no pressure.

About us manage My Rental is a Lower Hutt based residential property management company which works out of a central office in Lower Hutt where there is non paid parking available. We have been around for just shy of 10 years with our primary focus offering quality followed by growth as secondary to our goals and values.

We have high standards on our professionalism that is delivered to our clients so if you want to work with a company that takes immense pride in their work then we would love to hear from you. We manage all types of properties ranging from small one bedroom studio apartments to large upper market and executive standalone properties so there is certainly a lot of variety. Our reach is predominantly around Lower Hutt, but we also have a presence wider Wellington region which includes Upper Hutt, Porirua and Wellington, typically our cut off point is Plimmerton.

We are a very close team who all get along with one another, share the same values and humor, help one another out when one needs it, knows how to have a good laugh as well as know when to knuckle down and get the job done so we certainly want someone awesome who fits in well with us and is a huge team player.

We have created an environment where its laid back, people have one anothers back, don't get frowned upon by cracking a joke or cracking open a cold brew at the end of the day we like our work so we hope you do to.  We provide the same level of service to both our landlords and our tenants which is why we are fairly well liked by all our customers.

Our team is made up of the following property manager - responsible for the day to day running of a portfolio. Admin who is responsible for all the accounts payables, data entry, front of office / first impressions and admin type work. Senior property manager who is responsible for a large portfolio and is one of the key go to persons. Let agent - responsible for filling all our available properties.

The job being a property managers assistant is very much an entry level role into property management so if you want to get into property management but have been turned down on previous property management roles due to having no experience then this could be the role for you. However, I do need to be very up front as its a level entry role you won't be getting paid anywhere near the letting agents and / or property managers so please don't expect that sort of salary as this role won't be for you.

We are also growing so opportunities for becoming a letting agent and a property manager could become available to you if you succeed in this role.

The property managers assistant / admin role does a lot of ad hoc work so for example, if the team are busy and they need errand running then your it so if you don't like taking direction please don't apply as you won't fit our culture as we are a team who all muck in to get the job done.

To give you an idea of the jobs you'll be doing see below Greeting incoming people so it's non negotiable that you know how to smile. Property managers assistants / admin need to possess the following skills love people, love helping out the team so we can continue providing an awesome service, great with computer applications, competent key board typer, common sense.

Who we are looking for we are looking for people who want to get into property management so they don't mind going into an entry level position and starting at the bottom to get experience so they can eventually become a fully fledged letting agent or property manager or alternatively they love admin work and love the fast paced enviroment of property management.

You will have a bit of admin experience will also count however we don't expect someone to have years of experience as the role is fairly straight forward so isn't too difficult to pick up.

Benefits an employer who invests in you and becomes a mentor who is extremely supportive. Awesome and laid back office environment. Create life long friendships. Previous admin experience isn't required, however, it is preferred.
