About the position our client is seeking an Associate to join their team and provide expert advice regarding all aspects of property both residential and commercial. While your primary focus will be property law, you will also have the opportunity to work on private client matters. You will benefit from being mentored by, and working alongside, senior lawyers. You will also have the opportunity to mentor juniors.

Key responsibilities residential and commercial conveyancing, Commercial leasing, Loan refinancing, Retirement village sales and purchase, Subdivisions, Joint property ventures. Development agreements. Company share apartments and commercial units. Unit Title advice, including for Body Corporate managers. Review of construction contracts. Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney. Estate Administration. Relationship property advice, Trusts.

Key requirements 2-6 years' post-admission experience. Property experience is essential. Trusts, wills, relationship property and/or business sale and purchase experience is desirable but not essential. The ability to work autonomously. An enthusiastic and proactive approach to work. A law degree with a current practising certificate (or eligible to obtain one). Committed to living and working in Wellington.
