Property and Private Client Lawyer CoLegal location Auckland.

About the client a long-standing firm in the local community are on the look out for a 2-3+ year PQE (those more experienced may be of interest too) to work in a friendly and collegial team where you'll work with other lawyers and legal support staff in the areas of residential conveyancing transactions, property sharing agreements, commercial leasing, refinancing transactions, trusts, wills, occupation right agreements and related general practice legal work. The role has come about due to growth in work.

You'll work with clients that are mainly private clients in providing advice in terms of their personal affairs, as well as small-medium sized businesses and private developer clients. You will be someone that is proactive and willing to get stuck in but will have senior level support from partners to guide you on more complex files.

There are good working hours so you'd have a life outside of work. While you'd be expected to provide a good service to clients, the firm doesn't have high billing targets or pressure in that regard.

About you the ideal person will have 2/3+ years PQE in property, conveyancing and private client legal work. Some NZ based private practice legal experience is a must. An ability to build a rapport with clients and cultivate strong client relationships. Ability to work with a diverse clientele; and good communication and problem solving skills.
