With multiple projects on the go, you'll need to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage various stakeholders.
Responsibilities ensure all Site H&S requirements and documentation are always up to date. Lead all project deliverables and resource requirements. Estimate, negotiate, and agree on timescales with colleagues and managers. Organise and time subcontractors for site-related activity as per the construction program.
Ensure the Quantity Surveyors are aware of all variations and that client approval has been gained prior to commencing additional works. Travel around Auckland and beyond for jobs, site investigations, and client liaison. Complete accurate construction programs.
Order materials as required (e.g., doors, tiles, building materials). Communicate early with the Production Manager and Joinery Project Managers to ensure joinery is manufactured within the fit-out program. Detail and provide solutions to clients and architects as needed. Manage project costs against the budget.
Your profile over 3+ years of experience in the construction sector. Expertise in shopfitting, interiors, or light commercial projects. Proficient understanding of New Zealand construction methods.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Excellent leadership and people management abilities. Skilled in stakeholder management. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Process-oriented with a knack for innovative solutions.
