Project Manager Calidus Group location Sydney. Salary $90 - $95 per hour.

A world-leading software company with over 20 years’ experience specialising in estimating solutions delivered on a cloud platform. The application is versatile and scalable across a wide range of industries and companies. Key vertical markets include utilities, transport, civil, asphalt, landscaping, local government, road authorities, building and infrastructure.

The role this is an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to work with the development and consulting team based in Sydney on current and upcoming major projects across Australia and New Zealand. This role requires managing implementation projects for new and existing Clients. You will be involved in high-profile projects, coordinate and prioritise project tasks, manage schedules, identify and manage risks and maintain project plans and budgets to ensure exceptional client outcomes and satisfaction.

About you are comfortable communicating status’ to client stakeholders and senior management, working with third-party vendors as needed and attending and running client meetings on-site as required.

As a guideline, the role requires the following excellent organisational and time management skills. Impeccable communication skills. Ensuring client’s expectations and contractual obligations are met. Monitor the project progress to ensure it runs on time and under budget. Experience in consultative business development activities for existing and new Clients.

Experienced in IT projects involving various tasks including data migration, software development, integration, user-training and go-live support. Experience delivering projects in an Agile environment. Experience using project management tools, e.g., Microsoft Projects. Have a good knowledge of the software development lifecycle.

Experience in Utilities or other Government Agencies - an advantage but not essential. Tertiary qualifications in the IT field or other relevant industry certification. Some formal project management training, e.g., Prince 2, AIPM, PMBOK or equivalent. This is a 6 month contract role and it is envisaged that the role may expand and be ongoing as the business continues its growth.

On offer is a $90 - $95 per hour, depending on experience.
