QOH Architects is a medium sized Architectural practice with offices in Sydney and Newcastle with a range of current educational, commercial, aged care and high end single residential projects across the Sydney, Hunter and Illawarra regions; offering clients a full Architectural service including master planning, documentation through to complete contract administration and project management.

Our team & culture our team of around 25 people across both offices consists of 9 Registered Architects who take the lead on many projects within a supportive team. We promote a mentoring environment and the investment of time into younger members of staff to encourage both development within the company and personal professional of individual skill sets. The position we are currently seeking a Project Architect/Lead to join our team in a role that will primarily focus on the Project Management, Design and Documentation stages of projects. You will also have an eye for design, and a thorough understanding of project budgets and site constraints.

This role will involve working with and reporting directly to the Directors as well as acting as a mentor for other staff in both our offices. Being Responsible for documentation and coordination of projects and overseeing design work generally for suitability, fitness for purpose, compliance with Australian Standards, Building Codes and client requirements.

5-10 years industry experience. Registered Architect preferred. ArchiCAD experience preferred. Sound understanding of local codes and statutory requirements. Remuneration will be in line with qualifications and experience, with the opportunity for business development incentives.
