Programme Manager External Projects Wellington Water Limited location Wellington.

Infrastructure programme with tangible outcomes, in a purpose-based organisation. Influential and collaborative opportunity. Flexible working arrangements / based out of our Petone office. This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week. The remuneration range for this role is $104,279 to $147,205 (including KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience).

The opportunity the purpose of this key role is to manage the Wellington Water support and requirements for the delivery of third party three waters projects to meet the needs of our client councils in the Wellington region.

This will see you apply best practice processes to the management, planning, design and implementation of water projects. Ensure that the assets delivered meet the Wellington Water standards. Work collaboratively within Wellington Water and with our client councils, developers and their consultants and contractors to meet the strategic three waters servicing requirements. Contribute and advise on project key risk identification and active management. Assist with the continuous improvement effort in project management.

About you to be successful in this role you will bring a relevant tertiary qualification (Civil/Environmental) Engineering with three waters experience preferred. Solid experience in design and delivery of three waters projects and programmes.

Excellent relationship management skills to be able to work with wellington water key stakeholders, third party project sponsors, consultants and client council representatives to ensure all key stakeholders are well informed. Ability to foster collaboration, innovation, learning and high performance. Strong communication, presentation, written and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively at all levels.
