Programme and Performance Team Leader Hamilton City Council location Waikato.

Hamilton City Council’s Community Group manages a range of assets and services for the people of our growing city. The Planning and Performance Team Leader has left to take up an exciting opportunity internally within our organisation and we are looking for a leader and influencer to replace them.

The ideal candidate will lead and support successful implementation of programme and project improvement within our group. You will have an eye for detail as well as the ability to see the big picture. You will need a good understanding of effective programme and project management framework and tools and the ability to support others to implement these.

This role is responsible for coordinating and reviewing performance reporting, project planning, procurement processes, business plans and financial planning and reporting, ensuring consistent and seamless support is offered across the group, which comprises Parks and Recreation, Community and Services, and the city’s three visitor attractions – Hamilton Gardens, Waikato Museum and Hamilton Zoo. The recruiting range for this role starts at $98,000 per annum, and could be negotiated for the right candidate.
