About the role working in the Investment NSW team in the Premier’s Department, the Program Officer   will be a key contributor to providing support and program administrative services to facilitate the delivery of business operations and support the achievement of organisational objectives for the Program Delivery team.

The role involves working collaboratively with client-facing teams across the Division to deliver customer-centric programs that promote sustainable, productive, high-quality job creation, innovation, and investment attraction in NSW, thereby contributing to a prosperous and liveable state.

Your efforts will be critical in drafting and preparing correspondence, agendas, minutes, presentations, and briefing notes to support business requirements, as well as in creating high-quality documents that inform applicants of grant program guidelines, rules, and administrative procedures.

You will assist in managing contracts, variations, performance milestones, and auditing processes for programs and applicants. Additionally, you will help maintain and update administrative practices, systems, and procedures to enhance efficiency and service delivery.

Your role will also involve supporting the development of programs and the preparation of documentation for programs and executive staff, gathering, collating, and compiling information to aid in informed decision-making and planning, and assisting in identifying the needs of various best practice processes related to the current grants program under management

You, Our ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications in legal, commerce, business, or a related discipline, or demonstrated equivalent, relevant professional experience and training. Experience delivering executive and/or administrative support.

Understanding and/or exposure to legal contracts (desirable but not essential). Experience using Microsoft Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Strong communication skills.
