Description

We are looking for experienced Program Managers to join our Townsville team. In this role, you will oversee the strategic planning, coordination, and delivery of large-scale programs. You will lead the end-to-end execution of multiple projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, optimal use of resources, and compliance with Planpac’s Integrated Business Management System (IBMS).

The key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Develop and implement a comprehensive program management plan

Ensure all projects and programs align with PlanPac’s strategic goals

Define and enforce program governance: processes, procedures, and reporting requirements

Plan, track, and oversee the delivery of multiple projects to ensure milestones are met

Establish and manage the overall program budget, with forecasting and financial controls

Proactively identify and manage program-level risks and issues, implementing corrective actions where needed

Coordinate interdependencies across various construction and development projects

Allocate and manage shared resources across project teams for efficiency

Lead communication with key internal and external stakeholders, including executives, consultants, and clients

Support business development, program forecasting, and strategic reporting to the Managing Director

Qualifications & Skills:

Extensive experience in project or program management within the construction or infrastructure sector

Demonstrated capability delivering large, complex, multi-disciplinary programs

Strong working knowledge of project and program management methodologies.

Strategic thinking with the ability to align project outcomes with business and operational goals

Outstanding leadership and cross-functional team management experience

Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders

Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning

Proficient in industry software such as Total Synergy, or equivalent.

Certification in Project Management (CAPM)

Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

Program Management Professional (PgMP)

Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP)

Agile Certified Practitioner and more

As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate strong leadership capability, proven relationship building and people management skills, complemented with well-developed communication, interpersonal and influencing abilities.
