Where do you want to go as part of the Pinkenba leadership team, you will be our Product Facing Unit Lead. You will take responsibility for leading and empowering Pinkenba product facing teams to safely and sustainably deliver the right product, at the right quality, at the right time and at the right cost.

This is a Pinkenba site based role which will involve coaching team members to deliver and embed the new Dynamic Shared Ownership (DSO) operating model to achieve the best Bayer. Do something that moves you.

Day to day duties will vary but key responsibilities include safely manufacturing agricultural products to meet the demands of our farming customers. Utilise available resources effectively to remove roadblocks and enhance productivity. Delivering product quality aligned with product specification, legislation and good manufacturing practices.

Delivering the business’ product supply demand on time, within budget. Cultivating and maturing a continuous improvement mindset of both people and operations. Foster a culture of creativity and continuous improvement, encouraging new ideas and approaches driving tangible value.

Understand the organization as a complex system, identifying, and supporting the team to identify key components and their interdependencies.

Inspire and empower teams, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment based on autonomy, skills development and capability. Strategic Design: Support and Develop frameworks and structures that optimize processes and resources for value creation within our mission.

Remove roadblocks to facilitate connection and collaboration ensuring smooth production and people engagement. Offer constructive feedback to support individual and team development. Encourage autonomy and accountability within teams, promoting a sense of ownership.

Does this sound like you ideally you will have a strong understanding of Manufacturing Operations: experience in leading manufacturing operations within a high-risk environment would be highly beneficial. Experience in guiding teams through organizational change. Proven ability to foster collaboration, inclusivity, and diversity within teams.

A track record of achieving tangible outcomes and delivering value to both customers and stakeholders, supporting a common mission. Ability to think long-term, supporting the team to set clear goals, and align actions supporting our mission. Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset.

Clear communication: articulate a compelling vision, motivating and aligning teams towards common objectives and active listening to their concerns. Work with pace and agility: Navigate uncertainties, adjust strategies as needed, and lead the team through change, building team agility.
