Production Operator Dec International (NZ) location Waikato. Salary $15 - $19.99 per hour.

DEC Plastics Limited was established in 1999 to provide precision injection moulding services to the human and animal healthcare and life sciences industries. DEC Plastics is committed to delivering outstanding results and turn-key solutions to customers. We are looking for 6 full time Permanent Production Operators and 5 Fixed Term Production Operators to join us, commencing 06 July 2020.

DEC Plastics Limited operates on a 24/7 basis, therefore if applying for these roles you must be able to work 4 on/4 off 12 hour shifts following an eight week roster pattern.

Duties for this role inspect and pack finished product according to standards and specifications. Perform basic quality inspection checks during the shift on manufactured products. Complete all required documentation during the shift accurately and diligently. Basic fault-finding and be pro-active in problem solving.

Attributes required for this role quality focused with a strong attention to detail. A team player with honest and open communication. Have the ability, commitment and energy to learn. Be reliable and punctual. No experience is necessary as we will provide full training, though experience in a production environment would be advantageous.
