Studio Butter is a creative production studio based in Grey Lynn, Auckland. We specialise telling compelling stories & creating beautiful visual content across a range of formats. Our portfolio spans art, advertising, branded content, EPKs, music & feature film.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Part-Time Production Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative and communication skills, coupled with a keen interest in learning or enhancing their creative abilities in areas such as Photoshop, editing, camera, or design.

Key responsibilities manage the daily operations of the production company, including crew schedules, social media updates, call sheets, and client interactions. Assist with setting up camera kits and equipment for shoots. Coordinate with talent and manage on-location logistics.

Support the creative team with research, creative pitches, and design tasks. Interface with clients to ensure smooth communication and project execution. Help maintain an organised and efficient production environment.

Skills and qualifications excellent administrative and communication skills. Interest in or experience with creative tools and software (e.g., Photoshop, video editing software, camera operation). Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively. Enthusiastic, proactive, and willing to assist with various production needs. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
