Production Assistant Twiice location Auckland. $50,000 – $60,000 per year.

Twiice is a family-owned manufacturer of edible cups based in Eden Terrace, Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland. We are a world pioneer in our field and have developed our own patented technology for manufacturing our product. Developed with classic Kiwi number 8 wire ingenuity, we’ve been developing our product for over 5 years and we’re ready to launch it to the world. Our mission is to reduce single use waste. We are a proud B Corporation with strong conviction and a close knit team.

Our cups are served at cafes and restaurants all around the country and we’ve also opened a little coffee bar in our head office for people to come in and try them. As we continue to scale our New Zealand operations, the team needs to expand to accommodate a growing production capacity, so we are looking for a production assistant to join our team. We are a hands-on team, involved in all aspects of production, including baking, packing and paperwork. We are looking for someone who would enjoy the flexibility of this broad scope.

What does this role involve working in the production team, making and packing the product. Assist with new recipe / product development.

What do I need to have previous hands-on food manufacturing experience and understanding of food production and safety procedures would be an advantage. Have the desire and ability to add value and streamline our processes and systems. Strong organisation skills. Great attention to detail. Have the ability to work to deadlines. Excellent English.

Hours our preference is that this is a full time role but we are open to a job share / part time work for the right candidates. This is opportunity is located at our premises in Eden Terrace - Monday to Friday. Hours are generally 8:30am - 5:00pm.
