About the Opportunity

At RACV, we’re helping Victorians make more informed decisions about the cars they drive and the way they’re financed. Our new digital platform - RACV Car Match - brings together trusted automotive expertise, data-driven insights and personalised tools to help people research the right car for their budget, understand their car loan options, and explore what vehicle ownership really costs.

RACV Car Match is more than a research site - it’s part of RACV’s evolution to support Victorians in an ever-changing car market. From understanding different vehicle types, technologies, brands and models to comparing price points, running costs and affordability, Car Match helps drivers make confident, informed decisions about their next car and finance options.

We’re looking for a Product Manager to lead the next phase of RACV Car Match’s growth - turning data and user insight into engaging digital experiences that help Victorians choose and finance their next car with confidence.

In this hands-on role, you’ll collaborate with automotive and car loans experts, UX designers, content creators and analysts to shape a high-impact roadmap driven by experimentation, optimisation and measurable outcomes.

Success means building experiences that blend trusted content, personalised recommendations and data-driven tools to make car research, finance and ownership simpler and more rewarding.

Shape how Victorians research, choose and finance their next car. Here’s what you’ll be driving:

Lead the evolution of RACV’s car research and car loans tools - from concept and experimentation to launch, optimisation and performance tracking.
Define and prioritise a data-led roadmap that blends customer insight, business goals and emerging trends in automotive, digital and AI innovation.
Accelerate growth through personalisation, SEO and strategic experiences that deepen engagement and convert high-intent audiences into car loan and insurance leads.
Collaborate cross-functionally with automotive and finance experts, UX designers, data analysts and marketers to deliver seamless, insight-driven digital experiences.
Champion experimentation by embedding agile practices, performance reporting and A/B testing to inform and refine the product journey.
Leverage AI and analytics to uncover user intent, predict needs and shape smarter tools that evolve with customer behaviour.
Build delivery excellence - from clear documentation, user stories and GTM planning to rigorous ROI tracking and continuous improvement.
Identify and manage risks across delivery, compliance and OEM relationships to ensure stability, scalability and success.

What you’ll need to be successful

5+ years’ experience in product management, agile methodologies, and end-to-end delivery of digital products.
Proven ability to deliver strategic concepts, propositions, and enhancements that improve digital customer experience and drive commercial outcomes.
Strong capability in managing diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and clearly communicate decisions to senior management and key stakeholders.
Demonstrated skill in managing competing priorities while achieving commercial and delivery outcomes on schedule and budget.
Automotive industry experience and understanding of the vehicle ownership journey are highly regarded but not essential.
