Product Developer Zenitec location Southland.

Zenitec – The home of Clogger, is looking for a Product Developer to join the team in the head office in Invercargill. This is a key role, working closely with management, sales and production teams to deliver world leading industrial safety clothing solutions.

This role involves new product development, working with customers and industry to develop products, improving existing designs to streamline manufacturing processes, ensuring products are compliant to standards and finding innovative new components to enhance our products. We are always improving what we do and how we do it and we expect you to be as well.

Key responsibilities developing new products. Assisting manufacturing teams in solving problems. Improving existing product designs. Maintain knowledge of new technologies in the textile space. Work with customers to ensure product designs meet their needs and wants. Make custom made garment patterns. Maintain R&D records and systems.

You must have the following gerber Accumark or other CAD experience. Pattern making and garment construction experience. Excellent numerical and logical reasoning ability. High level of computer skills. Able to work in a team environment. Based in Invercargill or willing to relocate. Good problem solving skills. Able to communicate clearly, both verbal and written. Eye for detail. Open to receiving feedback.
