Procurement Specialist Achieve Australia location Sydney.
We are recruiting a Procurement Specialist role to join our Finance and Corporate Services team. This a stand-alone position tasked with establishing a Procurement function.

Key responsibilities vendor relationship management to ensure that contracted SLA’s are met. Contract management so that entering, renewing, extending and terminating contracts comply with legal requirements and are planned to maximize negotiation leverage use.
Assist in the development of Procurement policies and processes. Develop and implement a vendor selection process that ensures the best outcome for Achieve. Vendor verification to ensure all licenses, insurance, clearances and policy compliances are in place. Ad hoc and project responsibilities as required.
About you relevant experience within the procurement field. Specialist knowledge of procurement concepts, processes activities and trends Strong relationship and negotiation skills. Advanced analytical interpretation and problem-solving skills. Ability to provide technical leadership, coupled with people and project management skills. Proactive, autonomous and capable of self-starting tasks/projects with the ability to adapt to a changing environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Understands confidentiality and works with integrity. Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office program suite and ability to learn how to use other computer software. Preferred qualifications and membership with Procurement Associations and Professional Associations. Achieve Australia has been supporting people with disability for 70 years.
