About the role as Procurement Category Specialist you will be responsible for a portfolio of facilities and site service / operations related categories. This is an end-to-end role which will allow you to prepare and run sourcing events including RFQ/RFP/RFO, market review and negotiations.

You will be highly analytical and use your data based insights to drive your commercial thought processes that will support decisions to optimise outcomes and deliver measurable procurement wins. You will work closely with your stakeholders and suppliers to ensure strong collaboration and engagement with all parties.

About You, you will have developed a broad exposure and understanding across key areas of procurement including preparation and delivery of end-to-end category plans. You will be adept at procurement spend analysis that allows you to provide detailed insights into the market and suppliers.

You will be experienced at sourcing, managing vendors and evaluating their performance as well as understanding contracts and best in class procurement practices.

Industry experience attained working with Facilities Management, Food Services, Catering, Beverage & Drinks, QSR, FMCG or similar would be distinctly advantageous. This role would suit someone looking to progress their career towards Category Management, having worked in a Procurement Analyst, Buyer or Procurement Coordinator role and looking to accelerate their professional growth.
