Processing Officer DV Team Ministry of Justice location Wellington.

About the role we are looking for a talented administrator to join District Courts as a Processing Officer working for the Domestic Violence Programmes Team based in Wellington. The Processing Officer - Domestic Violence Team works as an integral part of a dedicated team delivering top class processing functions for the Courts ensuring participants have access to support programmes. If you are interested in this role please read on.

The key tasks include data entry, preparing and processing referrals to assist the management of Domestic Violence programmes. This role is non-customer facing and would suit someone who has experience managing multiple databases at one time.

Your duties will include data entry Process applications and other documents associated with Family Violence programme management. Assist with general administrative support activities. Maintain databases and operate in a generic email environment. Provide timely responses to requests.

Skills and experience experience in a customer service or processing environment. Experience in using databases to access, view, update and report. An understanding of the impacts of Family Violence. Confidence dealing with a wide range of customers by phone and email.

Dedication to quality and accuracy. Resilience - there are times when working in the courts, you will be working on sensitive cases and sometimes confronting information.
