About the role we currently have casual opportunities to join our team on either day or afternoon shift. Day Shift: 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM (approx). Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM to Midnight (approx). Please note that progression is subject to availability. Preferred candidates may be shortlisted and placed on wait lists. You will be contacted if this is the case.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) deal with raw & cooked meat products. Involve in Food processing activities like packing of meat, slicing of meat, Machine operation handling & manual handling (lifting, pushing, pulling, holding, carrying & other general housekeeping work on the production floor. Perform repetitive tasks such as packing, assembling, cleaning & sorting using hand-tools and operating machines & equipment. Work in different areas of the factory as required.
About you to be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate the following abilities and personal attributes a positive attitude and the ability to take direction as required. Proven reliability and a strong work ethic. Professional and collaborative work approach.
Be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Demonstrate a strong commitment to safe work practices at all times. Please note that previous factory experience is not a requirement for these roles, all employment comes with paid on the job training.
