We have been providing solutions for over 45 years and have built a global reputation as a specialist in the engineering, design and manufacture of major industrial, rail and Defence related projects. Solutions also include any refurbishment or sustainment services as required for RPC and other products/assets. The business is seeking a motivated qualified Process Engineer / Odour Control Specialist for its Seven Hills Facility as part of an established capable team, location seven hills, nsw - full time. The Primary purpose of this role technical assistance to the project team during tender, equipment selection and project execution, with special emphasis on installation and commission of odour control system, working with bd manager to prepare tenders for odour treatment projects and with project managers on various aspects of odour treatment project delivery, work with engineers or other technical specialists as required and ensures any solution within their specific specialism fits with strategic and technical direction, participate in the development of and/or review of standards, documentation and methods of working in the relevant area of expertise, consult in assignments which involve specialists from various disciplines, and takes responsibility for the quality, timely delivery and appropriateness of the team’s recommendations, performs preliminary studies, general systems specifications and detailed systems specifications and assist the tender team in preparing tenders involving that information, liaises closely with service partners and suppliers, for example where third-party work or packages involve significant functional, technical, process, data or integration decisions, effectively coordinates associated project documentation ensuring it is maintained in a complete, accurate and timely manner in accordance with rpc standards/processes, and in a manner that will protect the best interests of the organization, participates in project reviews and suggests ways to improve with respect to budget, materials, time, and innovation. What you need 2-3 years’ experience in a relevant engineering or manufacturing function, proven ability to project manage small to medium sized projects. Desirable requirements for the role tertiary qualification in an engineering discipline, experience in the wastewater industry (desirable), excellent communication skills, intermediate ms office and ms project skills, ability to travel on occasions depending on project requirements, current australian drivers licence.
