Privacy Officer Ally Group location ACT.

The workplace Allygroup is looking for several experienced Privacy Officers or Information Release specialists to be seconded with a high-profile Federal Government Agency. This role is suited for candidates with experience in Privacy, Information Release and Freedom of Information, as well as other related roles. Contract Length 12 months with the potential for an extension, and available for immediate start. Location Canberra CBD.

The position privacy Officers will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to process requests for information from government stakeholders and third-party clients. Ensure adherence to legislative obligations using a range of strategies, policies, and tools. Use departmental databases to locate and collate information. Prepare concise draft reports with accuracy and attention to detail. Assist with the timely and lawful release of sensitive information.

Your skills and experience previous experience in similar role. Ability to conduct critical assessments and identify items of significance in complex matters. Ability to exercise of sound judgement to make decisions within defined parameters. Strong time management and the ability to work to tight deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Enthusiastic and proactive work attitude in a team environment. This position sits within the Legal Services Divisio.
