The Principal Liaison role provides consistent point of contact, consultancy and advice to WITT for building online learning capacity and capability (iQualify), developing courseware, training staff and the business as usual processes as required, resulting in a blended, digital transformation for learning and teaching. In conjunction, the Principal Liaison will liaise with Open Polytechnic to ensure all WITT’s online learning objectives are achieved, staff are well trained, initiatives are encouraged, and any issues are resolved as quickly as possible. This is a full time, fixed term role based at our New Plymouth Campus.
The Principal Liaison must be someone who has outstanding communication skills and an eye for accuracy. Specifically, the appointee will ideally have experience which includes relevant tertiary qualification or experience. Extensive professional development and training experience. Current research activity preferred. Extensive digital ODFL teaching experience.

Ability to apply research results to practice and develop frameworks for practice standards. Ability to influence others and drive change. Excellent motivational and support skills. Initiative, discretion, sound judgement and diplomacy. Versatile, with a positive problem-solving approach.
