About the Practice:
Our Bupa Dental Townsville practice is well known for its cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, implants and general dentistry. We are a solid, stable team looking for an experienced Practice Manager as we prepare for a significant growth in customer volumes. Team dynamic is incredibly important to us in our 5-chair practice. The Opportunity:
We have a versatile, exciting and rewarding opportunity at our Townsville, QLD practice available for a dedicated Practice Manager seeking permanent full-time work.
The Heart of the role:
Coaching, leading & developing a high performing practice team in a positive environment for both staff and patients
Assist with overall financial performance of the practice in line with the approved budget
Maintain sterilisation, infection control standards and stock control
Patient management; greeting and welcoming patients, answering all phone enquiries, making & confirming appointments; checking, processing & managing customer accounts
General administration including processing payments using EFTPOS & HiCaps
Proactively marketing your practice to drive patient numbers
Effectively manage the recruitment & selection for all practice staff
What you'll bring:
Previous leadership experience is a must, we are looking for someone who puts their team first
Dental experience not required, full training provided
Prior business and people management experience essential
Proven track record of strong organisational skills, administrative and time management
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, customer service skills and strong business acumen
Understanding how to generate income and control costs
Able to face into difficult conversations & deal promptly with issues when they arise
Comfortable conversing with people from all walks of life, including dentists, patients, and your practice team
Experienced in comprehending and managing the P&L for the practice
