Description

Randstad is working on behalf of a medium sized Planning, Engineering and Surveying Consultancy specialised in creating sustainable and innovative urban environments. Working on behalf of predominantly private clients, they take pride in shaping the future of Auckland through comprehensive planning solutions.

With the level of front-end design and planning work growing and positive outlook for the coming year, a need has arisen for a Planning Consultant with 3 or more years experience to join their Auckland-based team. You will be working on small subdivision through to large green/brownfield development sites.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough due diligence to ensure compliance with local regulations and requirements.
Spearhead resource consent applications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to statutory processes.
Foster positive relationships with local authorities to streamline approval processes.
Contribute to the preparation of designations and notices of requirements, demonstrating expertise in zoning and land use planning.
Contribute to projects related to property, development, and urban regeneration, ensuring holistic and sustainable planning practices.
Liaise with the Engineering and Surveying teams to deliver turn-key outcomes on behalf of clients.
Requirements:

Tertiary qualifications in Urban Planning or a related field.
Proven experience in resource consent acquisition and processing.
Strong knowledge of district planning, policy development, and land use regulations.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
