Pet Stylist or Groomer Unleashed Pets location Sydney. $20 - $40 per hour.

Unleashed Pets is an award winning salon located in Castle Hill, NSW. We take pride in our eye for detail, caring nature, fun atmosphere (we embrace quirkiness & humour) and passion for pets.  We are currently looking for passionate dog lovers to fill our full-time groomer/stylist position and our casual bather position. Previous experience is desirable for both positions, although we are willing to train the right candidate.

Ongoing training is always provided and we encourage any chance to learn and grow. Pay rate is negotiable depending on skills and experience. We love rewarding our hard working, passionate staff members. Full time Pet Stylist -  This role will include 38 hours per week, Mon - Sat, 8am-4pm, some overtime may be required. Alternating Saturdays & Mondays, so you're not working every weekend.

ResponsibilitiesCustomer service in a professional and friendly manner. Handling computer booking system and taking payments. Bathing dogs using a hydrobath. Brushing and drying dogs to a high standard. Clipping and styling dogs to a high standard. Working within a team environment and on one's own when required. General cleaning of the salon. Monitoring pets within the salon, keeping their welfare a priority during their stay.

Skills/experience required confidence in handling dogs, An eye for detail, Strong communication skills, General computer skills, Physically fit and healthy (this role requires you to be on your feet for an extended period of time and a lot of repetitive movements such as bending and lifting).

Trustworthy and reliable. A passion for animals and their wellbeing. Previous experience pet grooming is desired but not essential. Pet Grooming Cert. III or similar desired but not essential. For candidates with little to no experience, this role will include being enrolled in a certified grooming course whilst working and learning on the job.
