Arielle, the Creative Director & Founder of Two Giraffes video agency, is seeking a Personal Assistant. Arielle is a creative, energetic, collaborative, positive and passionate Founder & Creative Director who has successfully built and grown a female-founded and led video agency for the past four years. She is also a key-note speaker and entrepreneur.

Arielle thrives in creative environments and big level thinking, however, loves and appreciates structure. She is now wearing many hats in this fast-growing agency and needs a personal assistant to help her with her day to day business and personal tasks.

This position is best for someone who lives for the organization, has an eye for extreme detail and possesses strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with the team, clients and potential customers. They also need to be able to work well in a fast-paced environment, use multitasking abilities, work effectively in a team setting, and work extremely effectively on their own with minimal supervision.

Personal Assistant to the Founder & Creative Director duties include manage professional and personal scheduling, including agendas, mail, email, calls, travel arrangements, client management, and other company logistics. Coordinate complex scheduling and extensive calendar management, as well as management of content and flow of information to the Creative Director.

Manage, coordinate, and arrange her travel and travel-related activities, including hotel booking, transportation, and meal coordination. Perform administrative and office support, such as typing, dictation, spreadsheet creation, note-taking, and maintenance of filing system and contact database as well as sorting her receipts and expenses.

Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials, and exercise discretion when interfacing with the business. Organize team communications, plan events and assist with client and team gifts, both internally and offsite. Management of her personal Linkedin. Ultimately be the first point of contact between Arielle and the team to best assess priorities. Assisting with personal tasks, errands, priorities and appointments when business needs to be her primary focus.

Skills and experience 2+ years experience as a personal assistant, administrative assistant or office assistant. Excellent verbal and written communication skills as they may have to deal with other people on a daily basis. Highly organised and good with managing time; ensuring all appointments, meetings, and other demands are well-scheduled. Good with managing and coordinating business staff.

Can multitask and make quick, critical decisions; able to work well under pressure. Loves dogs. Arielle brings her 4-year-old Boston Terrier - Winston to work most days, therefore a love of dogs is mandatory. Discretion and trustworthiness: you will often have access to and be a part of confidential conversations and information. Flexibility and adaptability. The ability to be proactive and take the initiative. Tact and diplomacy. Be willing to proactively learn thorough knowledge of the company and its operations.

Bonus but not required has a degree, background, experience and/or appreciation of video production, creative, advertising/marketing or sales. Has a degree in business administration.

The company's dog Winston runs up and down the halls looking for pats. Our Production Assistant is skipping everywhere she goes. Our Creative Director sits in every position and place other than a chair. Our Head of Production is writing on every wall imaginable.

About Founder & Creative Director - Arielle Peters is an award-winning Senior Creative Producer & Director with over 15 years’ experience in the film and media industry.
