Established in 1879, St Aloysius' College is a Catholic, Jesuit day school for boys from Year 3 to Year 12. Situated in the shadow of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, it has an enrolment of over 1200 students. The College is conducted by the Society of Jesus and is part of a worldwide network of Jesuit primary and secondary schools and universities.

About the role an exciting opportunity has become available for an energetic, organised and experienced Personal Assistant to support the Director of Teaching & Learning and Director of Students at St Aloysius' College Senior School campus.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-level administrative and organisational support, whilst also accountable for coordinating and facilitating an even flow of work through the office of the Director of Teaching and Learning & Director of Students to ensure matters of high priority are attended to in an efficient manner.

Demonstrating a commitment to high professional standards, the Personal Assistant will be suitably experienced in calendar and personal diary management, formulation of agendas and presentations, and the preparation and coordination of community engagements, meetings, and conferences. Furthermore, the Personal Assistant, will manage, collaborate and provide collegial support to other members of staff in the delivery of various strategic initiatives of the College and significant College events.

About you to be considered for this position, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate commitment to the mission of Catholic education of boys in the Jesuit tradition. Possess administrative experience at a senior level and/or relevant training/qualifications.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information in accordance with the College's policies, rules and regulations. Outstanding communication skills (both verbal and written). Strong relationship-building skills with an ability to develop positive relationships with diverse members of the community.

Should be self-driven and be able to produce work of a consistently high standard. Excellent computer literacy with advanced Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Strong commitment to child safeguarding principles. Possess a valid Working with Children Check.
