About the OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity to join us as the Performance Analyst, where you will be working with the Production Engineering Support (PES) team. In this role, you’ll support leadership by delivering performance reporting, providing data-driven insights, and contributing to Control Account Management for the team whilst playing a pivotal role in driving performance improvements throughout the business.
This role will be based at our Osborne Shipyard office in Adelaide and is open to the 9-day fortnight.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Provide monthly and weekly internal reports in line with the program framework to key forums and reviews
Track PES team KPIs, norms, issue trends and performance indicators to generate actionable insights
Use stakeholder engagement, problem solving and Project Management skills to identify and drive performance improvements for Production Issue Resolution
Support Control Account Manager activities with developing inputs including cost expenditure, earned value analysis and monthly variance reporting
Develop and maintain Tableau & Jira dashboards to support operational reporting
Support the team to prioritise issues and assess downstream impacts using structured tools; develop mitigations with stakeholders.
KEY CRITERIA:
Previous experience in a project, operations, or business management role with exposure to performance tracking and reporting
Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract insights from data and present them clearly
Familiarity with project control, accounting practices and PM methodologies
Ability to synthesise complex information and messages to executive stakeholders
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to self-motivate, work autonomously with high attention to detail
Experience with the creation of data visualisation and data gathering techniques (e.g., Jira, Tableau)
Qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (desirable) or equivalent work experience in a project-based environment
Intermediate MS Office skills, especially in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
NV1 Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
