People Operations Partner Callaghan Innovation location Auckland. $115,000 – $140,000 per year.
12 months Fixed Term, Full time, Auckland CBD in a hybrid working environment.
The opportunity This is a newly created role designed to support a major subsidiary of Callaghan Innovation’s rapid development, recent amalgamation, and future growth strategy.
There’s huge scope for growth, change, and the introduction of HR best practices. This role resides with Callaghan Innovation’s people team and takes dual responsibilities as an HR business and operations partner by taking on projects that enhance the employee lifecycle through process and policy improvements.
About you the People Operations Partner will deliver people leadership and management advice throughout the employee lifecycle including recruitment, sourcing, selection, onboarding, change management, employment relations, performance management, development and remuneration to ensure that we support the achievement of Callaghan Innovation and subsidiary organisations’ objectives.
To be successful, you will ideally have proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar capacity, with a strong understanding of NZ employment legislation and HR best practice. An innovative approach to doing things differently; focusing on employee experience and process improvements to make things simple and effective.
High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong ability to build effective relationships with peers and stakeholders. Proactive contributions to learning and the delivery of organisation initiatives.
