Payroll and Accounts Officer Rural Doctors Network location Sydney.

Rural Doctors Network (RDN) is seeking an experienced Payroll & Accounts Officer to join our Finance team on a full-time basis. The Payroll & Accounts Officer will be responsible for leading and managing the payroll function using our Elmo Payroll system and supporting the Finance team with various accounting and reporting functions.

Reporting to the Assistant Accountant, your key responsibilities will include responsible for end-to-end payroll management and processing using the Elmo Payroll System. Management of salary packaging process and coordination via a third-party provider. Complete monthly, quarterly and year end payroll tasks and reconciliations.

Organise, create and maintain payroll records and financial information. Collate fortnightly reports and undertake end of month processes. Assisting with accounts payable and receivable, purchase orders, expense claims and credit card reconciliation and payments. Building collaborative working relationships with internal stakeholders and responding to payroll related queries.

About you ideally, you will bring to the position high proficiency in payroll data entry with strong attention to detail. Demonstrated competence with payroll systems and processes. Experience processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

Microsoft Office (Excel & Word) experience. Excellent communication, customer service, problem-solving and organisational skills. Salary Sacrificing arrangements experience as applicable to charities (desirable). Strong knowledge of Awards and Agreements (desirable).

Experience developing efficiencies and improvements across the payroll system and processes (desirable). Experience using the Elmo HRIS and Payroll system (desirable). Ability to work independently and meet objectives within appropriate timeframe.
