About The role we are seeking candidates for a casual Clerical Reliever position within the Patient Services Team. The successful candidate will work across the entire Patient Services portfolio (incorporating Medical Records, Emergency, Reception, Admissions and the Chemotherapy Suite), providing a prompt, courteous and efficient clerical service to customers, including patients, visitors, staff and health professionals.

Hours the position will be offered on a casual basis with varying hours offered based on Hospital needs and as required to cover leave.  Shifts will vary and may include early starts / late finishes, and weekend/public holiday work.  Candidates must be flexible and with availability to work across 7 days of the week between the hours of 0530-2300. Candidates will be asked to indicate their preferred work hours availability as part of the application process.

About you our ideal candidates will have previous clerical experience within a medical environment and strong customer service skills. Other essential position requirements include excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within a team environment. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong organisation and prioritisation skills.

These roles will ideally suit applicants who are flexible and enjoy working as part of a dynamic team and thrive in a busy environment. As the positions will work across the Patient Services portfolio, an understanding of medical terminology gained through relevant experience would be advantageous.
