Pathology Courier Driver NSW Health Pathology location Moree. $29.57 per hour plus superannuation.
About the opportunity a unique opportunity has arisen for people who are interested in contributing to the health services of the region. NSW Health Pathology is in need of part time Courier Drivers to move pathology samples not tested locally to Gunnedah and beyond.
This vital service will provide timely pathology tests to provide clinical medical support to the medical teams in the hospitals and surrounding communities in our region.
These part time positions will be based out of our upcoming Moree Laboratory. If successful, you will be required to courier pathology specimens and supplies in a company car to Gunnedah via Narrabri and Boggabri Hospitals and return on a 6 day a week schedule (Mon- Sat) and some public holidays as rostered. The hours required will be during normal business hours.

What you'll be doing this is a highly customer focused service. Successful applicants would be expected to have very strong customer service skills. They would also be expected to provide an efficient, consistent and reliable pathology sample transport service which also transports collection equipment, results and other items as required to and from NSWHP laboratories, collection centres, clinics and hospitals.

Ability to be flexible and participate in a 24 hour / 7 day roster.
Current unencumbered Class C NSW drivers license with exemplary driving record. (Recent RTA infringement record print out required). Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to deliver efficient and effective services. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Demonstrated excellent time management skills with the ability to maintain high quality work output while managing competing priorities. Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and within a team and to promote teamwork as a basis for improvement.
