About us Child Rescue is part of an international network of organisations who work together to rescue children from sexual exploitation and human trafficking, and support their long-term freedom. We operate rescue, reintegration and prevention programs in multiple countries and raise funds and awareness in New Zealand, Australia and the United States.

About the role as the Partnerships and Donor Manager your role will be to strengthen relationships with our current partners and donors, and to develop relationships with new partners and donors to ensure continued and growing financial support for our programs and initiatives. Hours of work work from home, flexible hours, monthly in person team meetings.

Key Responsibilities of the role include donor Cultivation & Stewardship Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing donors, providing timely updates and personalized engagement to ensure long-term support. New Partnerships Development Identify and establish new partnerships with a variety of stakeholders including corporate organisations, community groups, churches and high-net-worth individuals.

Proposal & Grant Writing Research and apply for trust and foundation grants, seek out bequest leads and other fundraising opportunities. Strategic Planning Collaborate with the leadership team to define and execute a comprehensive partnership and fundraising strategy aligned with our organizational goals.

Event Coordination Plan and manage donor and partnership events, including speaking engagements, conferences, and high-level networking opportunities to deepen engagement and raise brand awareness.

Data Management & Reporting Maintain accurate records of donor interactions, partnership statuses, and funding opportunities. Prepare and present regular impact reports for stakeholders. Team Collaboration engage with and collaborate with our global partners by sharing relevant contacts, leads, best practice and collaborative problem solving for all issues within the team

What are we looking for from you previous experience Minimum of three years in fundraising, partnerships, or a related field, with a proven track record of securing funding and managing donor relationships.

Communication skills Strong written and verbal communication skills, with expertise in proposal development, impact storytelling, and persuasive communications. Relationship-Building Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster relationships with people of diverse backgrounds, ages, genders and ethnicities.

A good understanding of IT systems Confident using Microsoft 365 and Google applications at an intermediate level, experience with donor management platforms (Salesforce is a bonus).
