Parish Secretary Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane location Brisbane.

The successful applicant will have demonstrated ability in providing reception services and administrative support.

Experience in all aspects of office administration covering a broad range of duties and functions including knowledge of Microsoft Office software (+ MYOB). Well-developed written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills for providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Demonstrated capacity to work both independently and with others. Understanding of Wedding Documentation for State and Church. Compassion and empathy. A willingness to work within the Mission and Vision of the Catholic Church.

Specific responsibilities include general office responsibilities. Publish weekly newsletter. Liturgical booklets. Database entry. Routine correspondence. Maintaining parish registers. Photocopying and filing.
