Paraplanner or Adviser Assistant Up Wealth Management location ACT. Up Wealth Management was established in 2014 to provide a personalised wealth management experience to people within the ACT, Sydney and NSW South Coast regions. We specialise in providing a service to affluent, high net wealth and high net income individuals and families. We are 100% adviser owned. We partner with our clients, to help them live life today whilst planning for tomorrow. Our business has had strong growth in the first 5 years of business and we are now looking to bring on an additional Paraplanner/Adviser Assistant. The role the primary role will be to produce quality, client friendly, advice documents in a timely and efficient manner. The successful applicant will require strong attention to detail. You will also provide a support role for the advisers in managing client relationships. You will speak with and deal with clients for administrative matters, whilst also overseeing the preparation for client meetings and lodging documents off the back of meetings. As a young business, we will all need to roll up our sleeves at times to answer phone calls and greet clients at reception. The person we are people people. Other you have or are just about to complete a Business/Finance degree. It would be preferred if you have completed some studies in Financial Planning or have already worked in a financial planning business (1-2 years would be desirable). You need to have excellent oral and written communication skills you need to be able to operate in a highly professional business who deal with affluent, high net wealth and high net income individuals and families, you must be a team player, excellent computer skills is a must, xplan experience is preferred, in time, we will need the successful applicant to continue studies in financial planning, so that they can continue to grow and be the best they can be in their role, we will be flexible on the commencement date of the position.  We are looking for a full-time employee, however if the applicant that best suits the role needs the flexibility to work part-time, due to other commitments (ie study or family), then we may consider a part-time position. We will start to conduct initial interviews in the coming weeks.
