Packaging Assistant Deep Creek Brewing Ltd location Auckland. $23 - $24 per hour.

Deep Creek Brewing Operations is a Craft Beer Brewery, located in Silverdale, north of Auckland.  We are looking for someone with a genuine interest for beer and brewing to join our team as a Packaging Assistant.

Duties responsible for canning line operations and assisting Packaging Manager with maintenance. Assisting brewers in cellar work and brewery maintenance. Pre-packaging set up & post-packaging clean up, Kegging, Keg cleaning, Carrying out beer deliveries, Assist with brewery operation including cleaning of tanks & cleaning the brewery. Processing documentation as required. Assisting Warehouse. Maintaining a good routine with regard to punctuality, attendance, attitude & hygiene. To promote & practice relevant health & safety and fire standards. All other duties & requirements as may be reasonably requested from time to time.

Desired skills include, but are not limited to good problem-solving capabilities. Good understanding of the importance of cleaning and sanitation. Ability to grow into new roles in the company. Excellent written and oral communication. Ability to communicate with the entire brewery team.

Previous work experience in a production brewery environment is a plus but not essential. Forklift license is a plus but not essential (training will be given to the right applicant). This is a casual position. The hours required are Mon to Fri between 6am & 6pm or could be variable depending on the packing schedule. Applicants for this position must have NZ Residency or a valid NZ Work Visa.
