About the role we have an outstanding opportunity for a dedicated Operations Team Leader to lead one of our Collections teams. As a key member of Customer Care, you will drive excellence while leading a team of inbound and outbound Collections Officers who will do everything they can, to help make our customers’ accounts healthy again, while reducing the risk for Westpac.

We are looking for someone who can coach, motivate and inspire others. Your passion for collections will shine through with your great leadership background, you will be focused on developing and mentoring the team.

What you will require superb technical understanding. Process orientated, however open to change. Able to battle challenges – your resilience is second to none. Top-notch communication skills – relationship building with internal colleagues and external customers is your forte. Exceptional leadership abilities. Previous banking/product knowledge is essential.
