About the role the role involves the strategic operational management of our four neighbourhood shopping centres and two low-rise retail/commercial properties based from our head office in Macquarie Park.
Key responsibilities will include manage and delivery of all facilities management services, with a key focus on the large value contracts across the portfolio, including contractor management, operational analysis and tendering of services.
Continued review, development and improvement in our processes and procedures. Opex budgeting and reporting. Operational Risk Management. Plant and equipment lifecycle management. Strategic focus on cost savings and sustainability initiatives.
Building performance measurement & data analysis. This position requires you to be on call after hours as the first responder for any emergencies, as well as building maintenance and repair issues across the portfolio.
More about you facilities or operations management experience in shopping centres is essential. Self-motivated, enthusiastic, disciplined and adaptable as you will have the freedom to achieve outcomes. Ability to provide timely responses, cope with shifting priorities and be able to multi-task.
Have strong communication and organisational skills. Comfortable working autonomously but also enjoys working collaboratively in a team-based environment. A desire to continue to learn and grow professionally.
