About the role we have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and driven People Operations Coordinator to join our supportive and collegial People Operations team on a permanent, full time basis. As a pivotal team member, you will provide both administrative and generalist HR support to the firm.

Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to advisory Providing effective and timely advice to staff, Partners and Managers regarding People Operations policies, procedures, legislation guidelines and employee relations issues. Recruitment: Advertising, shortlisting and screening applicants, coordinating and participating in interviews and preparing employment contracts.

Policies and Procedures: Updating existing policies and procedures to reflect HR best practice and legislative requirements. General administration and reporting: Including monthly People Operations reporting, creation of the People Operations budget, auditing, document management and production (i.e. employment contracts and variation letters), maintaining the People Operations calendar, responding to general inquiries and providing support with cyclical People Operations activities and initiatives.

Remuneration & Benefits: Alongside the wider People Operations team, participating in and carrying out the administration and implementation of the Annual Remuneration Review process. OHS Assisting with the management of workers compensation claims and other OHS issues as they arise. Health & Wellbeing Coordinating and carrying out the firm’s health and wellbeing initiatives. Project support Assisting with or managing projects and supporting the implementation of annual People Operations strategic goals.

About you to be successful in this role it is essential that you have the ability to excel with a diverse stakeholder group in a faced-past and dynamic environment.

Essential requirements experience working as a HR/ People & Culture/ People Operations practitioner at a similar level. A tertiary qualification in HR or a related discipline. Proven customer-focused service delivery across the entire employee life cycle. Proven ability to deal with sensitive issues with empathy and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Proven commercial focus and ability to problem solve in a complex environment. Strong attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to build sustainable relationships across all levels of the organization. An understanding of employment legislation and best practice. An ability to excel in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines within agreed timeframes.

Enthusiasm and willingness to take ownership and accountability for specific People Operations projects. An ability to assist with daily People Operations queries inclusive of policies, grievances, employment contracts, performance management, remuneration and reward and the ability to work flexibly within a small team and have a "can do" attitude. Experience working within a Partnership or professional services environment will be highly regarded.
