MacKillop Family Services, a Catholic community agency, exists to support, foster hope and promote justice for children, young people and families, particularly those who have experienced distress, disadvantage and abuse. MacKillop Family Services is an accredited provider of The Sanctuary Model. Sanctuary supports organisations to provide a safe and caring environment for people affected by trauma, and to maintain a culture that reflects these qualities at every level within the organisation. A Permanent Part-time (22.8 hours per week, 0.6 EFT, SCHCADS Level 3 - clerical scale) opportunity is available within our Office of the State Director Program where you can make a difference in the lives of disadvantaged or vulnerable young people based in Blacktown.

About the role the Operations Administration Officer will provide high quality administrative support including monitoring the Regional Manager’s inbox, drafting communications on their behalf, planning and organising meetings, and responding to various ad-hoc requests.  The position works closely with key internal and external stakeholders, including the Office of the State Director, to ensure the Regional Manager’s team operates efficiently and effectively.

The Operations Administration Officer is responsible for providing administration support to the Regional Manager.  The position reports to the Regional Manager and is a member of the NSW/ACT Admin Team.

About youto be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated high-level administrative experience.  A qualification in administration or management will be highly regarded. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. A high level of initiative; ability to plan, organise and prioritise work; manage multiple tasks simultaneously; and work to tight deadlines under pressure. Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively with others and exercise influence in a range of contexts.

Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary, professional team. Ability to interpret and implement organisational policy. Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Sharepoint and the ability to use information management systems effectively including Family Journey.
