Office Manager Glenfield Intermediate School location Auckland.

Glenfield Intermediate is seeking a dedicated and experienced Office administrator to join the amazing team at GIS and manage our school office. This is a full time, permanent position of 37.5 hours per week, term time only. Hours are fixed at 8.00am-3.30pm Monday to Friday. Occasional work outside of school hours will be required.

The key responsibilities of the role are oversee all aspects of the operation of a busy office in our school. Maintain a positive and welcoming reception for staff, students and community members. A variety of administrative tasks. Personal Assistant to the Principal. Support the office assistant with administration of first aid to students as required. Support the Business Manager with financial systems as required. Procurement of staffroom and school supplies within a set budget.

Key Skills and experience works and promotes the school culture and values. Works as part of a team to promote our school vision. Is welcoming and professional to students, staff, and visitors to the school. Experience within a school environment desirable. Values children and communicates easily with them.

Excellent customer service skills required. Is flexible and willing to adapt to changing demands of the role takes the initiative to problem solve. Is proactive in sharing ideas with work colleagues and is able to work collaboratively. Excellent all-round computer skills using Google Suite, Website, Social Media, MS Office. Experience with E-Tap or experience in using another SMS desirable. Experience with Xero desirable. Sense of humour.
