Office Manager KLM Solicitors location Brisbane.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Office Manager to join our expanding Family and Criminal Law firm based at our City Office. This is a newly created full-time role. Within this role you will be in the first level of contact for the Admin team within the firm and will be required to provide a high standard of support to them, reporting directly to the Partners and the Practice Manager. You will oversee the overall HR running of our staff in our offices.

The responsibilities and duties of this role include day to day running of the office. Handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Providing administrative support to the Practice Manager and Directors. Staff management, including liaising between our external HR provider and staff. File and database management oversight, including LEAP software and XERO (experience preferable but not essential).

Overseeing the management of Legal Aid grants. Producing reports and educational packages. Managing office supplies and liaising the various administrative stakeholders. Assisting our administration team if and when required. Other ad hoc duties as requested. You will have the initiative to present new procedures and systems to improve the smooth running of the office as approved by your direct reports.

To be suitable for this position you will need to possess the following prior experience in a similar role human resource or people management training and experience. Excellent organisational skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong computer skills. A strong work ethic, with an emphasis on being punctual and reliable.

Energy and enthusiasm with a willingness to learn. Ability to work as part of a team with strong interpersonal skills. A strong sense of professionalism, maturity, self-confidence and attention to detail. A positive disposition.
