Office Administrator Government Superannuitants Association location Wellington. $25 - $30 per hour.

Office Administrator position with Government Superannuitants Association (GSA) in their national office located in central Wellington. This role is part-time only for 25 hours a week from 8.30am to 1.30pm Monday to Friday with an opportunity to work from home on occasions.

We are a member-based association of over 22,000 members administered by 19 branches and national office.  Our members comprise annuitants and current contributors of the Government Superannuation Fund Scheme (GSF) or the National Provident Fund (NPF) defined benefit schemes.  Our focus is to safeguard the provisions of the Schemes and provide support to members.

You work closely with our branches and the Executive Officer in administering the operations of GSA.  To be successful, you will need to be an excellent communicator, oral and written, in dealing with members, branch staff, Board and external parties.

Experience in office administration, data entry and organisational skills. A working knowledge of membership databases is preferable but not essential.

Experience in MYOB or other similar accounting software as the role requires a keen eye for detail in processing accounts payable and receivables, coding of bank and financial transactions and completing GST returns. To be proficient with MS Excel and Word to an intermediate level
