Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness is a dynamic organisation, providing sporting, recreation and fitness services to The University of Sydney and the general community. This involves the coordination of over 40 sporting clubs; the management of a number of fitness, health and other sports-related facilities, and the coordination of university and community based sport and recreation programs.

We currently have an opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual, with a passion for customer service and sport as well as a ‘no job is too small’ attitude, to join the Head Office team at Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness. As the Office Administrator you will be the first point of contact, the cheerful ‘face’ of the organisation, managing front desk and phone responsibilities, providing administrative support to the Head of People & Culture and all areas of Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness offices and clubs.

Job responsibilities coordinate Meetings, including preparation and delivery of papers. Open, date stamp and distribute mail. Distribute photocopy paper to designated areas across SUSF offices. Research and respond to email / mail enquiries. Couriers – prepare, book, receive and dispatch. Clean kitchen and maintain supplies.

Maintain office supplies and records of orders for stationery, printed matter, paper / toner, postal material. Clean printer room and maintain supplies. Approve invoices associated with mail and stationery. Coordination of Parking Permits for new staff.

HR function provide support in HR administration, including preparation of employment contracts, maintenance of a contracts register. Maintain organisation chart and staff intranet. Maintain SUSF's Working With Children records register. Assist with a range of recruitment related tasks including placing recruitment advertisements, applicant register, arranging interviews and communications with candidates as directed.

Assist with safety and insurance administration. Assist with the onboarding and induction of new employees. Provide administrative/clerical support and undertake research for the Head of People & Culture as requested.

Skills and experience proven Office Administration in an office environment is ideal. An enthusiastic, self motivated individual who is can work fairly independently in a small/medium size office. A fast learner with a high attention to detail, as well as a willingness to help others when asked. Intermediate MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally. Strong time-management skills/ability to work to time constraints., Problem solver.
