Office Administrator Edmund Hillary School location Auckland. $50,000 - $54,999.

Edmund Hillary School is a multicultural school with a current roll of 226 students.  We require a fulltime Office Administrator to provide the Principal and Board of Trustees with  support to carry out the goals set out in the strategic plan.  The role involves a number of key accountabilities. The successful  applicant will have the following skills, knowledge and traits reception duties such as answering phones, assisting students and parents with enquiries etc.

Admin support for Board and Principal. Ordering stationery, staffroom and first aid supplies etc. Organizing school meetings and functions. Managing new student enrolments, attendance and withdrawals. Payroll and maintaining Personnel Files. Other office tasks as required.

Key skills and attributes include professional and friendly with parents; able to prioritize and multitask. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent phone manner. Proficient with Google Platform, MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel. Previous experience in a school environment would be an advantage.
