About us Eastcoast Sailing specialises in boat charter events on Sydney Harbour. Corporate events include staff functions, Christmas parties and client entertaining. Private functions events include birthdays, hens , Xmas, social gatherings etc. We have a large variety of yachts and boats catering for all kinds of events from couples to groups of 300 or more.

We seek our business is seeking an enthusiastic administration/ bookings assistant with office admin experience and good written and verbal communication. The role is 20 - 30 hours per week midweek only for an initial 7 months contract with possible extension.

We offer flexible working arrangements on days, and times. We expect you to be in the office 2- 3 days per week, with the balance of the time to work in the comfort of your home. We are based in the Gladesville area. Perfect job for Mum or Dad with school aged children.

What you will be doing as the Admin /bookings assistant, your core responsibilities are handling customer communications by phone and email. Assisting with managing customer bookings including booking skippers, wharves, catering. Basic accounts - Raising invoices and reconciling customer payments on XERO- training can be provided to the right candidate. Updating boat information - new boats, pricing, catering menus. Follow-up on in-bound leads and existing customers entering customer enquiries and following up with customers. Getting feedback and reviews post  boat charter.

What you must have to apply for this role office administration experience. IT Skills - Microsoft Office and preferably Google Drive. Self drive and motivation and organisation skills. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Some experience in Xero or similar accounting software preferable but not essential. Your reward $35 - $40 per hour depending on level of experience.
