Organisation Turbans 4 Australia is a charity organisation based in Sydney. Since 2015, Turbans 4 Australia has specialized in providing emergency goods to people in need regardless of race, religion, or ethnicity.

The people we assist include those experiencing financial hardship, food insecurity, homelessness, and unemployment, and those impacted by natural disasters such as bushfires, floods, and drought. The organisation also participates in cultural events in collaboration with other organisations, and sports clubs occasionally.

Role Turbans 4 Australia is community focused, and as we grow, we need to ensure that operational quality is maintained, and that's where you come in.

You will be responsible for the smooth operations of the charity’s workplace. The role is multi-faceted and requires a lot of communication and liaison with other organisations, services, and the wider community connected to the organisation. Your administrative, collaborative, and engagement skills will be critical to this role's effectiveness.

What will be your responsibilities coordinate and carry out all office administration, including reception, mail, couriers, greeting clients, admin follow-ups, and filing. Maintain a clean and safe workspace and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures. This will be done with the help of volunteer staff as available.

Schedule and coordinate internal and external meetings and respond to meeting requests. Support members and volunteers in completing compliance requirements i.e., police check, WWCC, etc. Prepare documents, which involve collating information and analyzing data relevant to supporting important decision-making.

Should have excellent communication, interpersonal, and network skills to strongly liaise with services that the organisation works with. Work with volunteers, committee members and assist them when required.

Ability to manage small-scale in-house events, forums, and gatherings with support from volunteer staff to a high standard within budget and timelines. Should handle professional communication and marketing of the organisation on various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Be committed to the organization's goals and objectives.

Working Hours 5 Days per week, 6 hours daily 10 am-4 pm (some flexibility). Workplace Location. 14 Martha Street Clyde NSW 2142.
